The star field isn't just decorated — its directions are transformed. Push the throttle and every star is recomputed through relativistic aberration: light arriving from the sides crowds toward your direction of travel. Colour temperature is shifted with a Doppler factor and apparent brightness is beamed forward. The visual model is deliberately softened for readability, so this is physics-led rather than a laboratory photometry simulator. Stop, and the sky settles back toward its ordinary geometry.

The two clocks use the Lorentz factor γ. Your ship clock is proper time; the Earth-frame counter advances γ times faster. The route above the message also estimates time to the next landmark in both frames. Near light speed, distance can become surprisingly affordable to the traveller — while much more time passes at home.
